Job Title: Welder B Pressure

At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a skilled Welder B Pressure to join our team. As a Welder B Pressure, you will be responsible for welding pressure piping using various welding procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of welding equipment involved with various welding procedures
  • Have thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filter rods.
  • Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or SAW to weld pressure piping.
Requirements:
  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Alberta B-Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Class 5 Driver's License (Non-GDL) and a 3-year Driver's Abstract
  • Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required - as per Site's Performance Qualification testing of welder's guideline.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • CWB - Welder - Fab & Assembly- must be able to read and interpret Acorn & isometric drawing
  • CWB - Welder - previous tacking experience is an asset / Apprentice 2-3 yr
  • Stainless experience is an asset
