About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Tokic Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Willing to travel overnight
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work overtime and travel extensively, including overnight stays.
