Job Summary
FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Specialist to join our team in a permanent, long-term position. As a Pipefitter Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, as well as performing various tasks such as testing for leaks and replacing valves.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair piping systems to ensure proper functionality
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks and perform maintenance tasks
- Replace damaged components and ensure proper functionality
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings
- Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position
- Maintain accurate records of repair logs, maintenance schedules, and equipment specifications
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification
- Valid H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, CSO, CSTS-20, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection tickets
- Experience with maintenance required
- Boiler experience considered an asset
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
