Plant Manager Opportunity

CertainTeed Canada is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our Winnipeg facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead plant operations to ensure timely delivery of quality products while minimizing costs.
  • Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing initiatives to reduce costs, improve processes, and enhance skills and technology.
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, purchasing, and capital expenditures to meet business expectations.
  • Establish and oversee Environment, Health, and Safety systems to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Create a culture of employee engagement, trust, and talent development.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural change and create winning teams.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Expert understanding of Autonomous Maintenance, Professional Maintenance, and Kaizen problem-solving.
  • Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
