Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Rehabilitation Professional to join our team at Willow Pavilion 2 (Tertiary Mental Health) at Vancouver General Hospital. As a key member of the interdisciplinary tertiary mental health team, you will provide comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation services within a recovery framework.

The ideal candidate will have a Social Services Diploma or a Certificate from a recognized Health Care Worker educational program, along with two years' experience working in a psychiatric setting with individuals who have complex mental health and addictions issues. A strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, are essential.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assist in the development of individualized rehabilitative treatment plans, contribute to the overall evaluation of the client, and establish therapeutic relationships based on respect. You will also promote independence for clients while supporting them with activities of daily living, community appointments, and meal planning.
