Mental Health Recreation Services Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Recreation Therapist to join our team at Coast Mental Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing recreation therapy assessments, planning, and interventions in accordance with current evidence-based models and established standards of practice
- Collaborating with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement client-centered plans of treatment
- Coordinating the design, delivery, and coordination of recreation therapy services, including evaluating client needs and interests, establishing recreational services, and working with interdisciplinary teams to determine appropriate adaptations for recreation activities
- Maintaining knowledge of therapeutic recreation practices, including theories and concepts of leisure, social psychology, and current trends and practices
- Providing leadership and supervision to designated staff and students, as required
We offer a competitive salary of $42.27 CAD per hour, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
