Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Direct and oversee all phases of transit facility projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Develop project schedules and manage resources effectively.
  • Architectural Expertise: Continuously develop knowledge in architectural design for transit facility projects, from concept through to completion, while providing technical direction to staff. Lead the preparation of technical reports, studies, contract documentation, including drawings and specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients as project manager or architectural lead for transit facility projects, maintaining relationships and addressing feedback. Conduct presentations to communicate project progress.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Lead the preparation of technical reports, studies, contract documentation, including drawings and specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring designs meet client and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent) and at least 15 years of related experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Proven ability to perform in a managerial capacity.
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills, mentoring abilities, and excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and graphic).
  • Experience in the preparation of technical memos, reports, and contract documentation (drawings, specs, cost estimates).
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions.
