We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our team at Bumper to Bumper. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verifying invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Examine the condition of merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns, and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.
- Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties.
- Comply with electronic delivery principles and standards.
- Ensure any customer complaints or dissatisfaction are immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager.
- Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, tire condition, and ensure cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle.
- Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times.
- Check-in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on delivery progress/delays.
- Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory.
- May assist with customer service activities within the store location and assist with keeping the store in a neat and orderly manner, including stocking shelves.
Requirements:
- No experience required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Possesses high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships.
- Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
