About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at SARA FRANCHISE CANADA LTD. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies to support business growth and development.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs to promote commercial investment and economic growth.
  • Business Development: Respond to enquiries from businesses and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Economic Analysis: Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Consulting Services: Provide consulting services to government and other organizations.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Market Research Design: Design market research questionnaires to gather valuable insights.
  • Customer Service Evaluation: Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Research Project Management: Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Digital Marketing: Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach a wider audience.
  • Presentation and Communication: Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Client Support: Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure their needs are met.
Supervision and Work Environment
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
