Merilyn Catering Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
