Chief Digital Transformation Officer

The Monnaie is seeking a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its technology transformation efforts and drive innovation.
About the RoleThe CIO will oversee the development and implementation of the organization's IT strategy, manage IT operations, and provide inspirational leadership to the IT team. This includes driving innovation, improving customer experience, and ensuring the effective use of technology to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy, focusing on identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve customer experience, productivity, and operating efficiency.
- Manage IT operations, including planning and implementing large-scale digital transformations, and maintaining a high percentage of up-time for the technology infrastructure and systems.
- Provide leadership to the IT team by coaching, mentoring, and encouraging employees through effective performance feedback, career planning, and development opportunities.
- Establish a culture that promotes excellence, teamwork, inclusivity, and psychological safety, resulting in a positive employee experience.
- Direct the creation of new concepts, programs, and services to enhance shareholder value, customer service, and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee the planning, selection, purchase, development, and implementation of new IT systems and applications to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and legislation through the development, implementation, and updating of policies and processes.
- Bilingual in both official languages (English and French) with strong written and oral communication and presentation abilities.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree and/or graduate degree are considered strong assets.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years of progressive management experience.
- Experience in strategic and operational planning and execution of initiatives with a longer-term horizon of 3-5 years.
- Presentation of strategic content at a senior executive level.
- Implementation of large-scale, complex IT projects and integrations.
- Business administration, financials, people management, and leadership practices.
- Experience working with cloud service providers and cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT, and their application in business.
- Knowledge of cloud technology best practices for migration strategies, data governance, cloud architecture, information security, compliance, and cost management.
- Proven ability to collaborate with executives and senior leadership to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Able to plan at a strategic level while executing key operational duties.
