Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Layout Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance custom ICs using cutting-edge CAD tools and foundry technology. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in CMOS circuit theory, layout design, and verification experience using Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance custom ICs using advanced CAD tools and foundry technology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain and improve existing design flows and methodologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analog layout design and verification
  • Strong knowledge of CMOS circuit theory and layout design principles
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
  • Experience in leadership roles or as a technical lead
  • Knowledge of ESD concepts and chip-level integration

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Location
