Job Title: Freight Forwarding Manager

At TIMESCAN LOGISTICS LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, recruiting and training staff, and managing finances and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective logistics management
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of logistics professionals to support our operations
  • Manage finances and budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Record and analyze cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration)
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
