Freight Forwarding Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, recruiting and training staff, managing finances, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Recruit and train staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Manage finances and budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Arrange for shipping documentation and tracking of goods in transit.
- Ensure transport compliance with regulations and establish policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Negotiate for services and preferential rates.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
