Opportunity for Academic Excellence

The University of Saskatchewan's College of Law is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position in Law. As a member of our faculty, you will contribute to the development of our students and the advancement of legal knowledge.

About the Position

This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in their area of specialization, as well as in a major compulsory subject and/or in the first-year program.

Research and Scholarship

The College of Law values research and scholarship that contributes to the advancement of legal knowledge and practice. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a strong research agenda and a commitment to publishing in top-tier journals.

Teaching and Service

As a member of our faculty, you will be expected to teach a range of courses, including those in your area of specialization, as well as in the first-year program. You will also be expected to contribute to the service activities of the College, including committee work and other forms of service to the University and the broader community.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree in Law or a comparable advanced degree. You must also provide a current CV, three academic letters of reference, samples of your peer-reviewed publications, and copies of both peer and student teaching evaluations if available.
