About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Wyndham Fallsview. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.

Food Sourcing and Inventory Management

Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.

Culinary Leadership

Lead and motivate our culinary team to deliver exceptional results and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Quality Control and Assurance

Inspect and taste dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Training and Development

Provide training and guidance to our culinary team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment.
