Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Overtime Required: Be available to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, including cleaning and food preparation.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
