Job Opportunity: Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and managing HSE risks, prioritizing and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead or facilitate Operational HSE risk assessments
  • Investigate industrial incidents and develop corrective actions
  • Develop and audit Safety and environmental management systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental science or related field
  • 10 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training in the oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental and/or international standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Our Hiring Process:

Our hiring process typically involves a preliminary phone/video interview, followed by a client interview and additional video interviews with hiring managers. We also require medical examinations and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.

After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas to assist with your job transition.
