At Plan Group, we are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Lead to drive the implementation of our top-tier Quality Assurance Program across diverse projects, including industrial, commercial, and nuclear facilities. This dynamic role requires a seasoned professional with leadership experience and a strong background in quality assurance and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the implementation of quality assurance programs across project sites, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and verify quality documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management, construction, and customer teams to ensure seamless quality control.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including CSA N299, CSA N285.0, ISO 9001, and ASME BPVC.
  • Provide leadership and support for corrective action, human performance, and safety culture programs.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience leading inspections and quality control tests in the field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the nuclear industry, involving quality assurance leadership and interactions with regulators.
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Welding Technology, QA/QC, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to travel within Canada as required.
  • Applied knowledge of nuclear codes and standards is an asset, with consideration given to individuals with construction experience.
  • Certification in Quality Technology or Quality Engineering (CQE) is an asset, with preference given to candidates with construction experience.
