Business Operations Manager

Plextec Inc. is a trusted leader in the insurance industry, specializing in secure, hosted Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions that streamline IT management and enhance operational efficiency.
As the Operations/Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities within the office.
You will work closely with senior staff members and the technical team, taking ownership of coordinating internal projects, maintaining efficient communication across teams, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.
This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, and driving the overall productivity of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain hardware quotes from vendors for customers and assist in evaluating the best options based on customer needs and budget.
- Assess and manage Office 365 licensing requirements, including renewals, upgrades, and reporting.
- Assist in managing the company's financial processes, including budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice processing.
- Coordinate and order office supplies, ensuring inventory is stocked and orders are placed on time.
- Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the company's overall success.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in operations, office management, or administrative support (preferably in a tech or MSP environment).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail and deadline-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Working knowledge of basic computer hardware, software, and service components.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
