Job Title: Plumber and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumber and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Keir Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Work Environment

Our Plumber and Maintenance Specialist will work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces, wet/damp areas, and various locations. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Certifications and Licenses

Our ideal candidate will hold a Backflow Prevention Certification, Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, and Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate.

  • Valid driver's licence.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Our Plumber and Maintenance Specialist will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
