Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Early Childhood Educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the overall development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, ensuring a smooth and efficient daily routine.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required.
