Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at IC Early Learning Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to infants and toddlers, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Storytelling and leading activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Guiding and assisting children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Attending staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
