Project Manager Opportunity at Abstract Developments

Abstract Developments is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project finances through standard project management practices.
  • Review preliminary drawings with the Site Superintendent for feedback on cost and design, job scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, formulate critical path, and provide updates to sub-trades and project team as required.
  • Generate, update, and review monthly cost reports and budget forecasts with the Site Superintendent, providing detailed explanations for variances when applicable.
  • Lead trades and consultant meetings, ensuring timely minutes are captured and circulated to relevant parties promptly.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in construction project coordination and/or management with minimum two (2) years of multifamily (condos/townhomes) construction experience.
  • Highly organized with practical managerial, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, clients, consultants, trades, and regulatory authorities.

Benefits:

  • $90,000- $130,000 per annum for this role, depending on experience and qualifications.
