About the Role:

Pinchin is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead our Mechanical Engineering team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on complex projects, lead engineering designs, and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mechanical engineering services, including HVAC and plumbing designs, low-carbon solutions, and energy efficiency projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical guidance, and help grow the Mississauga office's engineering practice.
  • Mentor and guide more junior staff and delegate and review work as appropriate to their skill level.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering and a P.Eng. designation in Ontario.
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering, with a strong background in building HVAC and plumbing system design, particularly hydronic systems for heating and cooling.
  • Experience in energy audits, energy modeling, and evaluating energy efficiency measures for building mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, IES, and Trace.
  • Excellent technical writing, research, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and client relationship skills.
