Job Title: Bridge Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing bridge structures that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop bridge structures, including bridges, tunnels, and other transportation infrastructure
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design plans, specifications, and reports
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • 5 years or more of recent progressive related bridge engineering design experience, including inspection, analysis, load-rating, design, and construction experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to provide effective technical mentoring to less experienced engineers
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (or eligible for registration)
