Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Personal Choice Financial Advisors, LLC. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare long-term financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact our profitability and stability.
  • Internal Controls and Audits: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard our company assets, and manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Capital Structure and Investments: Manage our company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, and evaluate and recommend capital investments and financing options.
  • Working Capital and Cash Flow Management: Optimize working capital and cash flow management, and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax functions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor our finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial and operational strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
