Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Personal Choice Financial Advisors, LLC. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Financial Guidance: Provide financial guidance to our CEO and board of directors to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare long-term financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Communication: Communicate financial results to stakeholders, board members, and investors.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact our company's profitability and stability.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax functions.
  • Financial Management: Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Financial Strategy: Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
  • Financial Investment: Evaluate and recommend capital investments and financing options.
  • Financial Optimization: Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership: Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team Management: Leadership and team management experience.
