Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Financial-Advisor. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare long-term financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company's profitability and stability.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • External Relationships: Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Capital Structure: Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
  • Investment Management: Evaluate and recommend capital investments and financing options.
  • Working Capital Management: Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax functions.
  • Financial Asset Management: Monitor and manage the company's investments and financial assets.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial and operational strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
