Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Restaurant Management

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wakame Sushi Japanese Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members, ensuring that all duties are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
