Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to our high standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
