Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and clinicians to provide evidence-informed, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, person-centered, and recovery-oriented nursing care to patients and their care providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health history and mental status assessments
- Administer and assess the effects of medications
- Respond to observed behavioral changes and implement strategies to promote optimal mental health, physical health, and overall well-being
- Provide education on mental health and addiction topics to various audiences
- Assist in the evaluation/assessment of client-related physical health problems, issues, and questions
