Occupational Therapist

Concordia Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients in achieving their occupational performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients to plan and design services to meet their occupational performance goals.
- Support clients in developing health lifestyles, preventing illness and disability, and promoting health.
- Continuously develop and improve your professional skills through ongoing education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Recent and relevant clinical experience is preferred.
- Entry to practice degree as required for registration with The College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM).
- Legally qualified to practice Occupational Therapy in Manitoba through registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM).
- Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice.
- Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Must demonstrate adequate strength, agility, motor coordination, and dexterity for implementation of therapeutic techniques and manipulation of therapeutic activities as necessary.
