Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at 10064462 Manitoba Ltd. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction and renovation projects.
- Site Management: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements, and schedule and coordinate work on sites.
- Carpentry and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Supervision and Teamwork: Supervise a team of 5-10 workers, and work collaboratively to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and to handle heavy loads.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
