About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at KALASIDHU FRAMING AND RENOVATIONS LTD. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to construct and renovate buildings and structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the construction and renovation of buildings.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial buildings, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads and work long hours.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
