Medical Sales and Professional Liaison

Vision Group is a leading provider of vision correction services in North America, with over 70 clinics across Canada and the United States. As a Medical Sales and Professional Liaison, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and exceeding customer expectations.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Medical Sales and Professional Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Vision Group's services to eye care providers, developing and reinforcing relationships with optometrists and their office staff, and working closely with our clinical teams and surgeons to support optometric relationships.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing quarterly initiatives and annual sales plans, representing Vision Group at optometric events, and staying up-to-date with competitive intelligence for your territory.
As a Medical Sales and Professional Liaison, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Act as a direct liaison between Vision Group, TLC, and LASIK MD laser eye centres and the optometric community
- Develop and reinforce relationships with optometrists and their office staff by providing support with refractive/cataract surgery and Vision Group educational tools
- Work closely with Vision Group clinical teams & surgeons to support optometric relationships and to closely monitor optometrist office patients (who have been directed to a Vision Group clinic) with regards to their overall care and experience
- Develop and implement quarterly initiatives and annual sales plans
- Represent Vision Group at optometric events (trade shows, etc.)
- Participate in various optometric events such as lunch & learns, trade shows, and webinars
- Uncover opportunities for educational involvement (continuing education) with the optometric community and organize, host, and measure effectiveness of Vision Group optometric conferences and webinars
- Stay abreast of competitive intelligence for your territory
- Report on monthly and quarterly sales results and measure effectiveness within territory
- A minimum of three (3) years of related outside sales experience (B2B), preferably in a medical/dental sales role
- A proven track record in sales
- Available from Monday to Friday and flexible to work evenings and weekends, depending on business needs
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial with a strong sense of urgency
- Valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
- Travel regularly long distances in the Western Ontario region (4 days a week)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Dynamics)
- Flexible hours to balance work with life
- Three weeks of vacation, four personal days for unforeseen events, two additional days during the holiday season, and every Friday afternoon off paid in July and August
