Standards Development Co-op Student Opportunity

CSA Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Power Generation (Nuclear) standards team. As a Co-op Student, you will assist in the development of leading-edge standards solutions, working closely with industry experts, academia, researchers, and government officials.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including meeting notices, agendas, and draft minutes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting systems.
  • Assist in scheduling and convening in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Disseminate and maintain committee documentation and correspondence.
  • Follow up with members on action items and handle action items assigned to CSA staff.
Requirements:
  • Completion of second year or higher in an undergraduate program.
  • Preference for students in a related technical field, such as nuclear energy or energy systems, engineering disciplines, business, or management.
  • Knowledge of standards, government policy, and nuclear sector landscape would be an asset.
