About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at the Yellowknife Veterinary Clinic and Boutique. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to clients and their pets
  • Manage client and patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting area, examining rooms, and boutique
  • Assist with inventory management and client support

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a veterinary or customer service role an asset

Working Hours

Our clinic hours include:

  • Monday: 9 AM – 8 PM
  • Tuesday: 8 AM - 8 PM
  • Wednesday: 8 AM – 8 PM
  • Thursday: 8 AM – 8 PM
  • Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Sunday: Closed – Available for emergencies only
