About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist at the Yellowknife Veterinary Clinic and Boutique. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to clients and their pets
  • Manage client communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
  • Process client and patient information, schedule appointments, and generate invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Ensure the clinic and boutique areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or related field an asset

Working Hours

The Yellowknife Veterinary Clinic and Boutique operates on the following schedule:

  • Monday: 9am - 8pm
  • Tuesday: 8am - 8pm
  • Wednesday: 8am - 8pm
  • Thursday: 8am - 8pm
  • Friday: 9am - 6pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 6pm
  • Sunday: Closed (available for emergencies only)

Shifts will be arranged with management.
