Job Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a payroll specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on payroll management and accounts payable duties.
Main Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in ADP WorkforceNow, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
- Resolve discrepancies through thorough analysis and information collection, maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee the administration of benefits, including pension plans and extended health.
- Coordinate year-end preparations for annual T4 reporting and audits.
- Maintain effective communication with employees regarding payroll matters, attendance, and benefits plans.
Additional Responsibilities
- Conduct regular credit card reconciliations.
- Reconcile monthly accounting records to vendor statements in Sage.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience and PCP certification or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Prior experience with Sage or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of internal controls.
