Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at ONTARIO HALAL MEAT FARMS INC.
About the RoleThis is a critical position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee the operational logistics of our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, organizing tasks to accomplish work, overseeing operational logistics, planning and organizing operational logistics, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work, resolving work problems, providing technical advice, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality, training workers in duties and policies, arranging training for staff, conducting performance reviews, coordinating, assigning and reviewing work, requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment and supplies, and organizing and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and ensure seamless inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to employees
- Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory levels, shipments, and receiving
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control or a related field
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
This is a full-time position working on-site at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on teamwork, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and reliability.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
