We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Powerline Technician to join our team at Qec. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of power to our customers across Nunavut.

Job Duties
  • Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables.
  • Connect new services, install temporary services, and inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used to carry out line work.
  • Travel to remote communities to perform regular inspections, conduct preventative maintenance, install equipment, and perform general repairs to powerlines and systems.
Qualifications
  • Possess intra-provincial certification as a Powerline Technician.
  • Hold a valid Class 3 driver's license with an airbrake endorsement.
