**Position Overview**: This pivotal role involves the testing, commissioning, maintenance, and inspection of high-voltage electrical installations. You will play a critical part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex electrical infrastructure across industrial, power transmission, and generation projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:1. System Testing, Commissioning, and Maintenance**:

- Perform preventative maintenance, testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical installations, including switchgear, circuit breakers, power transformers, and protection relays.
- Verify the functionality and accuracy of protection schemes and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Assist in the construction and retrofitting of electrical installations and protective relay systems.

**2. Technical Collaboration and Support**:

- Interpret and analyze electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit layouts.
- Support project execution by providing technical expertise to team leads and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize specialized electrical testing equipment and hand tools to perform complex technical tasks.
- Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials for project assignments.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Accurately document test results, relay settings, system configurations, and any modifications.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and ensure their review and approval by the Technical Manager.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date records of work performed and equipment status.

**4. Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to EPTCON and client safety protocols, ensuring all work meets industry safety standards.
- Maintain and update all required safety certifications.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify and mitigate potential hazards, implementing necessary engineering and administrative controls.

**5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized protection and control solutions.
- Maintain professional, effective communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Completion of an Electrical Technology program, an Electrical Apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- Experience: Proven experience in the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems within high-voltage electrical installations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HV electrical testing equipment, protection relays, and control circuits.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry Acceptance and Maintenance standards and best practices.
