About the Job

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily needs, including personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
  • Prepare meal trays and assist with feeding
  • Administer medications and treatments as required
  • Participate in recreational activities and outings with residents
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Vulnerable sector check
