**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendant to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As an Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Build Strong Relationships**: Foster positive relationships with residents, employees, and stakeholders by promoting the Resident's Bill of Rights.
  • **Promote Excellent Customer Service**: Act as a promoter for our Home by demonstrating exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • **Provide Support and Assistance**: Assist residents and their family members by answering questions, resolving queries, and providing support as needed.
  • **Coordinate Care**: Coordinate with physicians and nurses to provide medication and treatments to residents in a timely and proper manner.
  • **Maintain Accurate Records**: Maintain proper documentation of residents' files and record information for future reference, ensuring confidentiality.
  • **Perform Routine Tasks**: Follow established procedures to perform routine tasks, including cleaning duties, replenishing supplies, laundry duties, food storage and serving, and other administrative duties.

**Requirements:**

  • **Education**: A High School Diploma is required; a degree with Hospitality education, OHS, and food safety will be considered an asset.
  • **Passion for Caring**: Be passionate about caring for the needs of others.
  • **Previous Experience**: Previous work experience in a long-term care home or retirement home can be considered an asset but is not required.
  • **Strong Interpersonal Skills**: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • **Certifications**: Completed or currently enrolled in Safe Food Handling course.
  • **Clearances**: A completed TB skin test and a clear vulnerable sector check must be provided upon acceptance of an offer of employment.
