About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Attendant at The Palace Home in Alexandria, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and cleaning duties.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, employees, and stakeholders by promoting the Resident's Bill of Rights.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and proper medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform routine tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and food storage, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; degree in Hospitality or related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or retirement home setting an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Completed or currently enrolled in Safe Food Handling course.
  • Clear vulnerable sector check and TB skin test required.
