Job Description

This role reports directly to the Director, Engineering, and involves:

  • Providing exceptional service to guests and colleagues alike;
  • Conducting regular rounds to ensure optimal functioning of facilities;
  • Responding promptly to repair requests and emergencies;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including chemical testing for boilers and chillers;
  • Participating in fire response teams and standby duties;
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A strong background in technical studies or equivalent experience;
  • Previous hotel experience, an asset;
  • Building Operator Certificate or Maintenance Technician certification, advantageous;
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including BAS and Microsoft Office;
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repairs.
Additional Information

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Constant standing and walking during shifts;
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps;
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
