Product Owner at Interac Corp.

The Product Owner will lead complex squads and set the team's direction to align with key stakeholders across the organization. This role requires analytical thought to contribute to enterprise strategic initiatives and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and squads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end accountability and ownership of high-profile product(s), including financial management.
  • Achieving objectives and key results (OKRs), identifying leading indicators to track progress.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to determine business needs and deliver quality solutions considering multiple perspectives.
  • Working closely with the Product Leader to understand and drive alignment on the company's strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Communicating the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Representing customer needs and requirements to ensure they are well-understood and integrated into the Squad's work.
  • Defining the minimum viable product (MVP) to rapidly test fit to customer needs.
  • Brought a data-driven approach to decision-making, allocating funds, and developing OKR/KPIs driving product success.
  • Partnering with the Product Leader to define acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs.
  • Optimizing value flow through the multi-team Agile environment, progressing towards objectives, goals, and commitments.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Considerable experience running large impact projects within the organization and understanding customer or client needs.
  • Practical knowledge of the software development process.
  • Strong business and/or technical acumen and a deep strategic mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and troubleshooting skills.
  • An Agile mindset and passion for applying agile practices and processes in delivering business value to customers.
