Intermediate Municipal Land Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Municipal/Land Development Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Kingston, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing detailed engineering design solutions and input on the design process for complex projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Provide detailed engineering design solutions and input on the design process for key complex projects.
- Write, sign, and seal reports/drawings as required.
- Review project designs, specifications, and contract documents.
- Monitor project schedule and budgets within your area of responsibility and report the status as required.
- Liaise with clients, municipal approving authorities, and contractors, as needed.
- Pursue obtaining all necessary approvals and permits for projects.
- Have a strong working knowledge and extensive experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Participate in business development efforts, including writing and pricing proposal efforts, securing new projects/clients, as needed.
- Coordinate design and field staff required for internal project teams.
- Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to at all sites.
- Professional Engineer (Minimum 4 years of experience in the Municipal Infrastructure and land development design and construction).
- University Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management experience.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft software applications.
- Working knowledge of Modelling programs for storm water management and water distribution is preferred.
- Organized, works well under pressure, and able to deal with situations with tact.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.
