Land Development Planner

Claridge Homes is a leading land developer in Ottawa, ON, with a portfolio of residential communities, condos, retirement communities, and the Andaz hotel. We are dedicated to quality and craftsmanship without compromise.

As a Land Development Planner, you will investigate properties for development feasibility, review Agreements of Purchase and Sale, and develop preliminary concepts and budgets for potential projects. You will also coordinate submissions for municipal, provincial, and federal planning approvals, and liaise with legal, survey, engineering, planning, and environmental consultants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Investigating properties for development feasibility
  • Reviewing Agreements of Purchase and Sale
  • Developing preliminary concepts and budgets for potential projects
  • Coordinating submissions for municipal, provincial, and federal planning approvals
  • Liaising with legal, survey, engineering, planning, and environmental consultants

Education and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in leading development applications through the municipal planning process
  • Post-secondary education in planning, architecture, or engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to coordinate multiple team players on a project
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
